Besiege Me
Behold the stars that burn like beacons in the night
Besiege the breath of wind and fire
Upon the evening of my twilight
For as I look upon the stars shall I hold you
In my heart upon the sea an endless ocean
Beacons with the essence of your name
A place for now I wonder but my thoughts are not the same
For I have long endured love
And felt the hurt by passions flame
Withered by the years the tears shall turn to dust
Longing to be the candle
That's whisper the essence of your name
Besiege me but do not love me for my spirit will remain
I am like the wave of an endless ocean
That travels out upon the wind for I am the light of heaven
That beats within the window of my soul
I am the one that is open
You are the one that makes me whole
You are the one that has defined me
You are the light within my soul

Cooled By The Touch
Precious angel who walks with earthly feet
Be unto all my Love be safe, be free
By the seed of our passion
May we come undone
As we rest in the presence
Of each others arms
Compare to thee a summers breeze
As mist passes slowly among the trees
By the light of the flame
Two hearts are one
Warmed by the candle
Cooled by the touch
Be still my heart
In your natural splendour
May my thoughts not betray me
As I surrender
With all that am
And all I can be
You are the land
And I am the sea

Where The Footprints Leave No Mark

The speckled flight of the stars tonight
Glisten by the pale moonlit sky
A summer breeze moves through the trees
Memories of yesterday come flooding in
The warm embrace the sweetest taste
Of a love that could not compare
A gentle stare that shows you cares
The essence of your heart
Would have glistened by the stars above
Memories of the innocence fresh in my mind
As i remember seasons end as the rain began to fall
Was it you that i heard at the window
Or was it the sound of heavens call
As i watch the heavens fall
For i know one day the answer will come to me
When the heavens are secreted away
And i will walk within the light of heaven
Where the footprints leave no mark
And the world will remember this token of my heart

Burn
If I sparked the fire that burns
Deep within my heart and soul
Would the reflection of my light
Glisten in my eyes
If I cast a shadow over the bay
As the day light slipped away
Would you feel the sadness of my tears?
Would you understand the heartache and the pain?
For if I burned just like a candle
In the middle of the night
Would the essence of my flame
Shine across the heavens?
Would I be the only light?
I will burn for you
In the middle of the night
I will be there to hold you
Till the early morning light

Like kindred spirits
We walk along distant shores
Beneath the stars tonight
Where I� will wait forever humble
As I look upon the sea
For faded words are always written
Within the seed of my beating heart
Through the years I will always cherish
The gift of knowing you
White waves upon the ocean
Will beat a path to where I roam
For in my heart there is a presence
And I will call that presence home
Within my heart I am forever humbled
By the presence of your earthly feet

Be my shelter from the rain
Comfort me in sadness
Be the one to ease my pain

Faded Words Among The Footprints
Mystic beneath the moonlight beckons
Forever humbled at my feet
The shooting star that rises in the heavens
To only to fall upon the light of flint and bone
To break away the burdens of the flesh
Within the light of heavens soul
Am I forever humble by the swaying in the breeze?
As the lonesome traveller comes to pass
Among us in the trees
For now the light has faded
Beneath the beat of heavens wings
The sound of angels singing
Within the depths of my very heart
As the tears fall from the heavens
Will my soul be swept away?
For in the distance there's a beacon
That lights the passage of my way
Only in the shadow shall I wait
For the light of the rising day
Swept away by life's sweet sorrow
Beneath the light of heaven cleft
Were I wait within the light of gentle slumber
Where the footprints leave no mark
Be still my beating heart
For I am forever humbled

Pride Of New Zealand
For we have triumphed over adversity
As we have lived our daily lives
We have endured the greatest hardships
And yet the pride of our nation
Has always been present by our sides
For the pride of our nation
Will always be present in the hearts
Of every one of us who call New Zealand home
And we will carry the pride of our nation with us
Wherever we may roam for the pride of our nation
Is in our hearts and in our soul
As New Zealanders we are proud of our heritage
For we know where we have been
And as we acknowledge all of those who have fallen
To protect our nations liberty
New Zealand, stand together and hold your heads with pride
As we unite together as a nation beneath the southern skies
We will look to the future where our hopes and dreams reside
For the pride of this great nation will always be present in the hearts
Of all New Zealanders as we live our daily lives

I have loved and been hurt by love
I have seen joy and yet there is pain
I have breathed and yet
I am breathless in your presence
I have walked a thousand miles in my shoes
On a road which never ends
Through the driving rains many tears have fallen
Swept up in the passage of time
My heart will linger in the moonlight
As i breathe the ocean breeze tonight
For on the horizon there is a new day
A story still left untold
For the dreamer dreams of hope
And a lover feels with their heart
So why is it human nature
For us to tear ourselves apart

The heart is like an open book
With pages still unwritten
Of dreams and aspirations
That fill us all with hope
The heart is like a wishing well
For all our life's desires
That leads us on our journey
For all that is to come
The heart is like the deepest ocean
Filled with all of the emotions
That gives us all new feelings
As we travel along the way
The heart is the well-being
Of hope and human kindness
That drives the world today
