Gajakarani – practice of hatha yoga; regurgiation.
Gariman – the power to become weighty; siddhi
Gomukasana – cowface pose
Granthi – knot in the pathway of the kundalini energy.
Gunas – described as ‘energies’ sometimes as ‘qualities’. A triangle of forces, opposed yet complementary. The gunas are sattwa, rajas and tamas.
Guhyasanas – positions, postures, that are imparted to the student orally after certain initiations. They are asanas that can be performed only by the yogi who has learned to govern his body completely with his higher consciousness.
Ganapati [gunuputi]: the elder son of Siva, the remover of obstacles; same as Ganesha, the chief of Siva's hosts

Guna (s) [gun]: the three fundamental qualities, tendencies or stresses that underlie all manifestations: sattva, rajas and tamas
Gunatita [gunaateet]: one who has transcended the gunas
Guru [same]: a spiritual master
Guru kripa [guru kr^puH]: guru's grace
